Audio recordings:
19DX072: one of my own recordings. Back in 1995 I did a special event called "Victory 50", to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of The Netherlands from World War II. During one of these sessions a very strong Sporadic-E cloud appeared between The Netherlands, UK and Ireland. In a QSO with an Irish AT member I received the highest signal I have ever received outside The Netherlands. Recorded on 18th June 1995 by my old radiofriend Leon ex 19AT377.
19DX072: meteorscatter is a kind of propagation which is associated with VHF en UHF (100-1000MHz). That it also effects HF like 27MHz can be heard on these two recording of a midnight QSO (1.00 AM local time) between 47AT101 in Denmark and myself (the distance is ± 600km). Listen to the strong QSB (fading). Recorded by myself on 11th August 1995.
19DX072: meteorscatter again, 47AT101 with OK16 in Düsseldorf, Central Germany. Listen me switch after 7 seconds from a 5/8 Groundplane antenna, to a 4 element cubical quad directed towards Denmark, and hear the difference in signal strength! Recorded by myself on 11th August 1995.
19DX072: aurora is great way of propagation. It allows you to work around into areas, which normally cannot be reached. The sound of an aurora signal can be recognized from the fast QSB and scattered signal. If you point your antenna to the Pole, you might hear this: a QSO between 20AT124 in Central Norway and 137AT105 on the Isle Of Man. Recorded by myself on 7th April 1995.
19DX072: aurora again. 20AT124 with 26FC158. Listen to the extreme fast QSB and extremely scattered signal from the English station. Recorded by myself on 7th April 1995.
19DX072: listening to a Dutch station at 200km distance, which signal is coming back via Aurora. He clearly does not know what is going on! Recorded by myself on 7th April 1995.
